Optional AI features
If the user enables optional AI features:
- The user provides their own OpenAI API key.
- The key is stored in the macOS Keychain.
- Selected content is sent to OpenAI only when the user explicitly requests an AI action.
- OpenAI processes that data under its own policies.
Support email
If a user contacts support, they may voluntarily provide information such as their email address and message contents. That information is used only to respond to the request.
